Today in Mr. Schick's class we learned a little more about the Letter for Garcia. We learned that the letter is taking place during the Spanish-American War. President Mckinely, who was the president at the time, needed to send a letter to Garcia- but he didn't know where to send the letter. So he sent Rowan, to deliver the letter to Garcia. Rowan did this with no hesitation, and succeeded in delivering the letter to Garcia. Mr. Schick explained to us that the letter is a metaphor- work hard, be trustworthy, be like "Rowan." This is the message of the letter.

After this, we went onto his blog and went over his newest post. His new post- was about our blog progress, democracy, and Elbert Hubbard. We discussed, asked questions- then before I new it, it was the end of class!

I has yet, another good day in Mr. Schick class!
